truth sets us free
Ever feel that life is like this wild ride through the present moment? We seem to be either lost in the haze of what's next or drowning in the memories of what's been. But, what about right now? This exact moment. The truth, it's not some distant concept; it's staring us all dead in the eye, right here, right now. That old saying, "the truth will set you free"? What does that actually mean? Been really pondering on that one lately.
Something big shifted inside me not too long ago, and let me tell you, along with the core shift comes a series of movements and adjustments in life. This is the chapter I'm living now—the one where I'm sharing my journey while still piecing it together. Maybe it sounds a bit cryptic, but that's just where I'm at, and I am comfortable with that. Gives me space to meet others where they're at, too, not where I think they should be. And that's freedom right there. Perhaps my current truth is simply a state of observance and acceptance. Putting down my warrior’s armor and simply observing. Deciding what’s on the horizon. Re-settling my perspective. Centering so that I may proceed with more stability than the chapters in my past.
Why even blog? Who cares? My inner critic asks, doubtfully.
To those questions from my inner judgey voice, I answer;
Why not? Each of us walk a unique path, yet we can all relate to one another somehow. Perhaps something I’m going through will give someone else insight and guidance.
Someone cares. It’s the reason I follow creators with an intentional voice, because I want to learn and grow my own perspective by exposing myself to the live’s of others who are willing to share.
What’s your truth in this moment? Are you thriving? Are you confused? Are you simply surviving?
How does your truth feel in your bones? What can you do to either shift your reality or maintain it? These are my personal prompts in my present chapter. I invite you to ask yourself the same and write down the answers. It feels good to be truthful with oneself. The truth will set you free.
